The focus of this practice is to empower those who come through the doors. Through the use of evidence-based therapy techniques I hope to elicit hope, strength, and tap into your inner resiliency. While I know the idea of therapy can be uncomfortable and very frightening, having a trustworthy, nonjudgmental person to help you to facilitate the changes you want in your life can be very powerful. People seek therapy for a wide variety of reasons; from managing emotions from major life challenges such as death, divorce, birth of a child; to dealing with everyday stress, depression or anxiety. Some even seek therapy simply desiring personal growth and greater self-knowledge. Therapy is whatever you make it. It is never too late to heal, to learn coping skills, and to understand your identity better to venture into the next chapter of your life. It is my goal to offer a safe space and to build a lasting therapeutic relationship with you.
